TRT tracker apps compared
There are now several apps for tracking testosterone injections, plus the spreadsheet and the phone alarm. They differ less in what they log than in three things: what it costs, whether you need an account, and where your health data is stored. Here's how the options compare, and how to choose.
We make Enhanced Training Studio, so we've stuck to facts each app states on its own website or store listing (checked October 2026), linked below. Apps change: check before you choose, and tell us if anything here is out of date.

How to choose
- Decide where your data should live. An injection log, blood results and the medicines you take are sensitive. An account-based app syncs nicely between devices, but your log sits on someone else's server. An on-device app keeps it with you, so back it up.
- Check what's free for good. "Free" sometimes means one compound, a trial or a limited number of lab scans. Look for what happens after the trial and whether the price is monthly or once.
- Make sure it handles your real schedule. Twice weekly, every 3.5 days, daily subQ, hCG alongside testosterone. Set it up with your actual protocol before committing.
- Think about your doctor. A clean report of doses, timing and blood results makes appointments easier. Check the app can export one.
- Look for a way out. Can you export or back up everything, and restore it on a new phone?
What Enhanced Training Studio does differently
No account, no cloud of ours
Your log lives on your phone, with an app lock and encrypted backups to your own Google Drive if you want them. The only thing sent is an anonymous daily usage count, which you can switch off.
Protocol tracking costs nothing
Injections, orals, supplements, reminders, the syringe draw, site rotation, stock, estimated levels, check-ins and the doctor report. The free edition's source is public on GitHub.
Training, blood tests and health
A one-time licence adds a workout log, blood test import and charts, levels calibrated to your results, Health Connect and live heart rate. No subscription.
Questions
What should a TRT tracker app do?
At minimum: remind you when an injection is due, log what you took and where, and keep your history in one place. Most people also want the draw worked out in mL or syringe units, site rotation, vial stock, an estimated levels chart and somewhere to keep blood test results.
Is a spreadsheet good enough?
For a simple weekly schedule, often yes. A spreadsheet can't remind you, though, and every-other-day or every-3.5-day schedules, site rotation, stock and level estimates are fiddly to keep up by hand.
Do TRT apps need an account?
Many do, because they store your log on their servers so it can sync between devices. Some, including Enhanced Training Studio, keep everything on your phone with no account. Check each app's privacy policy for where your data goes.
Is Enhanced Training Studio free?
Tracking your protocol is free forever: injections, orals and supplements, reminders, the syringe draw, site rotation, stock, estimated levels, the daily check-in and the doctor report. A one-time licence adds training, blood tests and health.
Who checked the details of the other apps?
