Paying with bitcoin

A licence is paid in bitcoin through our own BTCPay Server. You don't need an account with us, and we never see your wallet. This page explains the checkout, then walks through paying with a popular wallet.

The checkout page

When you tap Pay with Bitcoin on the pricing page, you go to our checkout page at pay.enhancedtraining.app. It shows:

• The amount in BTC. The dollar price ($24) converted at today's rate. Pay this BTC amount exactly.
• A QR code and an address. Scan the QR with your wallet, or copy the address.
• A 30-minute timer. The rate is held for 30 minutes. Send the payment before the timer runs out. It doesn't have to confirm in that time; it just has to be sent.
• Bitcoin or Lightning. If both are shown, choose the one your wallet supports. Lightning is instant and cheap, but many wallets (including Exodus) only do regular bitcoin, so pick Bitcoin.
• Pay in wallet (on a phone). Opens a bitcoin wallet app on the same phone with the payment filled in, if your wallet supports it.

Tap View details on the checkout to see the exchange rate and the recommended network fee.

Pay with Exodus

Exodus supports regular bitcoin, not Lightning (Exodus ended Lightning support in 2025). On the checkout, choose Bitcoin.

Before you start, make sure your Exodus Bitcoin balance covers the amount plus the network fee. Fees vary with how busy the network is: usually well under a dollar, sometimes a few dollars.

Exodus on your phone

The easiest way is to open the checkout on your computer and scan it with your phone. If you're checking out on the phone itself, copy the address and amount from the checkout instead.

1. In Exodus, tap Send, then choose Bitcoin.
2. If Exodus asks which network, choose Bitcoin. Don't choose another network or a "wrapped" version of bitcoin: that payment wouldn't reach us.
3. Tap the QR scanner and scan the checkout's QR code, or tap Tap to paste address and paste the address you copied. Tap Continue.
4. Check the amount. Tap the amount display to switch it to BTC, then make sure it matches the BTC amount on the checkout exactly. If it's blank or different, paste or type the BTC amount from the checkout.
5. Tap Send, then OK on the warning that payments are permanent.
6. Fee (optional): the fee Exodus picks is usually fine. If the network is busy, open the menu on this screen and set a custom fee at least as high as the recommended fee under View details on the checkout. Setting a custom fee also turns on Replace-by-Fee, which lets you speed the payment up later if needed.
7. Check the details and slide the arrow to confirm.

Exodus on your computer

1. Click the Wallet icon and select Bitcoin. If there's a network menu, choose Bitcoin.
2. Paste the checkout's address into the address field, or click the QR reader icon.
3. Enter the amount in BTC, exactly as shown on the checkout. (Clicking the dollar value lets you type dollars, but the rate won't match ours exactly, so use BTC.)
4. Optional: click Show Advanced to set a custom fee.
5. Click Send, check the details, then click Send again.

After you pay

• Within a minute or so, the checkout changes to show that your payment was received. You're then taken back to our site.
• A regular bitcoin payment needs one confirmation on the network. That usually takes 10–30 minutes, and can take longer when the network is busy. Lightning is instant.
• As soon as it confirms, your licence key appears on the thank-you page. Copy it somewhere safe. You can close the page and come back to the same link later. The key is shown there for 2 days.
• Then follow Install the app and Licence and updates.

If something goes wrong

I sent a little less than the amount. This usually happens when the amount was entered in dollars, or an exchange took its withdrawal fee out of the amount. The checkout shows what's left to pay: send the remainder from the same page before the timer ends. If the timer has already ended, email [email protected] with the invoice number.

The timer ran out before I sent it. Don't send to that address. Start a new purchase from the pricing page to get a fresh rate.

I sent it, but the timer ran out while I was sending. Your payment isn't lost. Email [email protected] with the invoice number and we'll sort it out.

It's been hours and it hasn't confirmed. The fee was probably low for how busy the network is. It will usually confirm eventually. If you set a custom fee in Exodus (which turns on Replace-by-Fee), you can raise the fee from the transaction in Exodus. Your key appears on the same order link once it confirms.

I paid from an exchange. That works, as long as the exchange sends bitcoin on the Bitcoin network, sends it within the 30 minutes, and doesn't take its fee out of the amount. Some exchanges hold withdrawals for a while. A wallet like Exodus avoids these problems.

Anything else: email [email protected]. Include the invoice number from the checkout page, and never send us your wallet's recovery phrase. No one genuine will ever ask for it.
